The XBOX 360 is 4 years old today

Still got my launch console. Recently considered firing up Condemned again, great game.

Surely its time for the next generation, 4 years is plenty I want an upgrade!
 
Time has gone very very fast! Infact it's going far too fast!

I didn't get my xbox till about a year into into it but have still got condemned and kameo knocking around somewhere.
 
Sept-06 20gb console here. Goes on like a trooper it does. Used to get lots and lots of disc read errors in certain games but those are all but gone now. Got 2 rrod a couple of months ago but just allowing it a few seconds between start up and shut downs means they don't appear anymore either. Got a couple of Harddrive error codes which go away with a restart.

Have been meaning to get a 120gb unit sometime, but i haven't had the chance to yet. Untill then my current xbox will soldier on.

I was playing N3 recently to get into the grinding mood for borderlands though, don't know how long after release that was though, also DoA4 is always welcome with a friend sometimes. On that note is there anymore info on N3-2?
 
I'm amazed Microsoft hasn't dropped it like a brick yet; not for any particular reason mind you, but they did the same to the Xbox, just out of the blue.
 
Happy Birthday Indeed, I do hope that in Microsoft's future console incarnations they maintain full support for 360 titles (perhaps even with improved visuals?), there have been some real gems this generation.

The X360 totally revived my interest in gaming.
 
Mine wasnt quite a launch day one, but wasnt far off. been to MS once to be fixed but still going. Was reminiscing abour Condemned the other day, so much so I bought the second for £6.99 new.

Enjoying it so far, for anyone who hasnt played either the first it is the most atmospheric game I have ever played.
 
2006 model here, been replaced after RROD.

The XBox came out in 2001, the 360 in 2005 so we are due 1 now!!!

I am hoping for a new console soon, but probably will be over a year away atleast. :(

And you need to pick up Kameo, such a beautiful game, also (imo) it has the best soundtrack of any game this generation, if not ever tbh.

I still have a launch day 360 going strong :D
Mind you I did 'Upgrade' the cooling on it and have had to replace the Sammy MS25 with a nice new MS28 as I had worn it ragged :p

It's so scary though :o I'm up to the apartment store and I can play it for about 5 mins at the time before chickening out :p

Kameo was great, never owned it but I played through a housemates copy at launch and I really should pick it up again.

Amped 3 was fantastic fun, fun little story mode just sadly lacking any multiplayer :( (other than the fun but shortlived co-op thing)
 
launch day console going strong here and a year old arcade :D god i love my console (GF comes first though :p)
 
Nov 2006 20gig died this easter, RROD. MS exhanged for a 'new' one (falcon or whatever they called it). Replacement going very strong. Does anyone know what warranty MS put on these exchange units or how to check (short of ringing them). ta.
 
It's 3 years from build date which is related to the number on the back, Send it here & I will check it for you.
