I contribute my free prime subscription to a small-time streamer only every month.

Most of you don't understand that twitchtv is something to have on a second monitor/background kind of like the radio. Only a minority closely watch and engage with the streamers. I prefer twitch/youtube to the ***** that's on TV these days.

I sponsor two people on Youtube, both have about 30 to 80k subs with about 500-5000 viewers, both have a very good friendly community where everyone interacts with each other outside of the videos by social media.

Aside from the entertainment value they provide, the social aspect is really nice too, regularly get a chance to play games with them and others in the community.

That said, these people are normal people, they have jobs.

I can't stand most of them tbh. Why not just play the games yourself.

I can kind of understand the supercar lot. Still a bunch of chumps though.

A lot of them do. Did you not read? They play with streamers or streamers play with subscribers and or follower days. Heck, I've seen streamers play with streamers while viewers joined in on their games shuffling people. In between having conversations and laughs over Discord with the stream. It's all very interactive.

Thing is watching people play games is just a replacement to TV for me, while multitasking, would have something on Youtube playing while I do something else, am still playing games, watching others isn't a replacement for that, aside from console games, since, I don't own one.

The streamers I don't like are the "forced" ones, the fake ones. You know they are fake, because they got the prefect gaming and streaming setups and they play games because the viewers want THEM to play games or they use their boobs for views.

The only big ones, I would watch are DrDisRespect.

The smaller ones who are just being themselves playing games are more fun to be with.
