If this is that stupid glue-on lead effect on some windows from ten/twenty years ago, then unless they broke the glass the thieves did you a favour: your house now looks twenty times better.

If that were me, I would set up some kind of system like releasing permanent UV dye into them, get some new lead and set up a legal trap, can only think of the dye just now, maybe some other ideas?
