Theme park rides which you found too excruciating to enjoy

To be honest I enjoy the middle of the road themed rides the most - Stealth was borderline - kind of cool as a novelty but I don't need to put myself 200 feet up facing the ground.

I did Kingda Ka recently… 50% faster and over twice as tall

Absolute beast!

I can't recall the exact point, though maybe it was in my late teens, but anything which spun me around started to make me feel quite sick.

I still think I'm okay, for the most part, with anything that goes in a roughly straight line/direction, even if it's very fast, though it's been years since I've been to a fairground or event like that.

The Black Hole at Alton Towers back in 90's - A fully covered (and fairly small) roller-coaster which, being covered, meant it was pitch black inside so you never knew where the track was going and what direction was next so you got thrown around a huge amount, smashing your knees to bits or being squashed to death as it was tandem seating (one behind the next) in each cart, with just a lap belt to hold you in :D.

Mission: Space at Epcot in Orlando was the worst I've felt on any ride in my life. It was probably the closest I've come to throwing up when that centrifuge started doing it's thing and ramped up the Gs.

If we're talking favourites then for me it's the Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood.

The Rat at Lightwater Valley, it’s not the biggest or most “thrilling” rollercoaster but it’s in the pitch black dark. I hated it.

The ET ride at Universal Studios, L.A. theme park. Couldn't get the bar thing that comes down to close properly too bloody small for my frame (6'2") and was hanging on for dear life trying not to fall out out the carriage, it was a long way down arms still hurt days afterwards

Never been but I just remembered about those rides on top of that tower in Vegas. NOPE NOPE NOPITY NOPE

On a slightly themed note, I have been playing Planet Coaster over the last few weeks, currently designing the car parks and entrance. Might take some inspiration from these rides mentioned in this thread.

The cyclonator at Paultons made me ill all afternoon. Normally good with extreme roller coasters but that particular ride being super crampt + getting thrown and spinning in the air was not good for me.

Oh that brings back memories, loved that ride as a kid.

I recently went on this at six flags CA, knocked me around the place and came off with nausea and a head ache, getting too old for jolty rides.

SheiKra at Busch Gardens is probably my fav

This reminds me of a ride at Thorpe Park called X: No Way Out. It was another dark indoor rollercoaster. It was about mid afternoon and quite a few hours before the park was due to close.

Me and my gf wanted to go on it so we queued like everyone else for about 30 mins while we listened to the dark ambient music which was quite decent and the queue snaked its way around all the corners indoors. We got to the cars and just as we were about to get on the assistant put the barrier up right in front of us. They were just too full to accommodate us so we waited for the next one.

So we waited for the cars to come back. Waited. Waited. Waited. Waited. Waited more. Waited. They didn't come back.

After about 10-15 minutes they told everybody to leave the building and closed the ride. We never found out what happened.

Not a coaster as such but Thor at IMG world Dubai. Just awful. I think my kidneys switched positions during it.

Just found a POV video of the ride that pushed things over the line for me in the OP. I can't even watch the video.
