There be football! 7-8th & 14th Feb *SPOILERS*

Calamity james at fault for the last 2 liverpool goals, hes palmed an easy header into his own net and been beaten near post when he was leaning on it just about.

Didn't think it was going to be our day today; offside decisions going against us and seemingly the bounce of the ball too.

Crazy manager, crap players and we're top of the league :o

jesus, awful awful keeping, no way that should have gone in, Reina completely let that through his arms.

Looked as if the ball changed direction when it bounced.

In fairness Reina was to blame for Portsmouth's second-you can't really put Pompey's defeat down to the keeping. If anything all this shows is that Liverpool's squad players are pretty dire, but that once they bringtheir top players on they are considerably better than most sides.

All you kuyt and benayoun haters can eat some humble pie, cos benny put in a great performance and kuyt persevered as he always done...and 3 POINTS thank you very much!! I think benayoun is staking a claim for a starting place now...he has been excellent last few games...this is the kind of result we needed to get our season back on track..

Oh they didnt loose because of poor keeping, they were terrible. However, I reckon a good 95% of regular first team keepers in the league would have saved at least one of the last two liverpool goals.
The defending for Kuyts goal was the worst I've seen a good few years, almost as bad as the Newcastle defending when United put 6 past them a little while ago.

Happy that we won, obviously. For several reasons, not least because its one in the face for Nugent gobbing off about Everton winning 1-0. I agree fully with the commentator, maybe he should be thinking more about the team he plays for rather than the team he supports, so glad to wipe the smile off his face.

Ngog was below average, and yet again I was appalled at Babel. Babel showed so much promise when he arrived but now all I ever see him do is dribble dribble dribble dribble and then either lose the ball or misplace a pass. How the guy compares himself to Thierry Henry I dont know.

The guy drives me ****ing crazy. He constantly gets himself into great positions and then wants to take touch after touch and often ends up losing the chance. He done it twice today; the ball broke for him in the area to hit first time but he wanted to take a touch and James smothered it and just earlier he made great run into the box got himself in a great position to either take a shot or cut it back and he decided to turn towards the corner flag

I mentioned before, he's just like Garcia was.

Agree. There were a few seconds at the end of the first half were Babel pulled out of 3 challenges in a row and then didn't fight to win the ball back. Really dislike his attitude and hope he's sold in the summer.

Thought the formation worked quite well at times and with a full squad to pick from we could've hammered them.

Its something that i thought we may have tried earlier in the season. It makes perfect sense on paper, given that we have 3 top cm's and cb's. Just imagine Gerrard, Alonso and Torres starting in place of Aurelio (moving back to lwb), N'gog and Babel, looks pretty strong imo.

I agree, Kuyt is *****. Regardless of the goal or not, he's still absolute *****.

However, Benayoun has been playing out of his skin the last few games and should be starting each week.

Babel needs tying up at the ankles and loaded onto a boat back to Holland. I cant believe he stayed on the pitch for 75mins while putting in such an absolute awful performance.

I'm 100% glad we won, but... lucky Rafa, very lucky (I've said this a few times.)
