There be football! 7-8th & 14th Feb *SPOILERS*

Likewise, because Arshavin, Eduardo and Nasri are imports and cost decent money, doesn't mean they have, or will make an impact.

You'll be calling Wiltord and Reyes good signings I bet....

There's no need to take it the wrong way, the Arsenal fans are first to point out that Arsenal are poor this season ..

p.s. Scoring 2 goals against Man Utd is somethimg I'd consider an impact!

Both were good players. Wiltord still fairly regularly made an impact but did moan a heck of a lot.

Reyes, god knows what happened with him. All sorts of rumours including his family couldn't settle in London. Something about his mother/grandmother pulling the strings..

Nasri has been one of the high points of this season for Arsenal to be fair to the lad. Since Cesc got inured he's looked by far the most able in the creativity ranks.

It's a shame that we probably won't see Arshavin now, he would have replaced Eboue anyway and could Arsene really take the risk of putting on a player who doesn't really track back and defend with only 10 men on the field? Probably not worth it.

So one performance justifies a £13m price tag!

They could have had Dennis Bailey for free, and he went one better against the Mancs I recall.....

I'm not a fan of either of these teams, which obviously affects my opinion. But I can't see how any pundits can say this is one of the most passionate derbies. Its tepid at the moment.

:/ He's 21 and only been here a few months, do you have a problem with him or something? If you were an Arsenal fan you'd see he has been one of about 3 good performers for Arsenal this season. He's going to be quality, he's got so much potential.

Villa are a fantastic unit, MoN, has pretty much picked a system and bought in players to fit that system, and they are good British players, no ego's etc.

He runs a club the way it should be run. That said a club like Villa is about his level, the underdog type, I dont think he could cut it right at the top, just a feeling I get about the guy.

He's had success everywhere he's been - he hasn't been at one of the cliched "big club's" yet.

People may point at the money he's spent at Villa, but apart from the face it's not a huge amount compared to others, in actuality, it's how he's spent it.

I didnt see anything wrong with either Wiltord or Reyes, personally I would have liked them to stay. Both were attack minded and scored goals for us. How is that not making an impact.

Wiltord left because he wanted to be first choice and play up front but he only managed the wing at best.

Reyes left under a cloud with dreams of playing for Madrid which never worked out for him. Not real anyway. Grass is always greener comes to mind...

We get it, he's the best manager in the league.....
