I hope Southgate doesn't sub Alvez, even so he's missed two he should have scored from he is still the most dangerous and unpredictable and the only one who would score for Boro.

Middlesbrough are so painful to watch - absolutely no spark.

Can't fathom how Downing gets anywhere near the international scene, and as for Alves, at £15m, he is a dreadful signing.

They're not going to have much spark when second bottom, low on confidence and in poor form.

Look at early in the season for the spark that got them wins, especially the Liverpool game and beat Villa comfortable too :p

Downing is low on confidence and has been for some time but you can tell he's a class above his team mates. He'd do a very good job at a higher side that's for sure.

Downing looks dreadful playing for England, and he won't play for a better side than that!

Oh, and it's ALVES, not Alvez! although I think it translates the same - useless.

Couldn't have put it better myself. Did I just hear the UTD fans booing their players on SSN ? Bad form guys, bad form. You'd think they'd be used to losing to us by now !

Robinho, while I think he's not playing well, I think he's enjoyable to watch.
He's never really lived up to the expectations.

Middlesbrough seem to be taking quite a beating here, Poor finishing has kept the game at a low score.
