There be football! 7-8th & 14th Feb *SPOILERS*

LOL @ Chelsea TBH BTW, FACT etc..
I've been a bit reluctant to criticise Scolari as everyone needs time to settle but it's about time he started taking some blame for our clueless performances.
He wants to play attacking football which is fair enough but it's such a blatant, one directional system he employs that it's a doddle to defend against.
Almost every side has played the same way against us for months now, they just defend deeply in numbers dragging our forwards back with them closing down any space there might of been goalside and if a Chelsea player does get the ball up there it's usually with his back to goal and he can't do a thing with it except knock it out wide to one of the fullbacks who then under or over hit a speculative cross, which then leads to us being hit on the counter attack.
Every game is groundhog day.

He doesnt have a lot of options to change up to really though does he?
He's got 5 decent players he can choose from (if they are all fit) and the rest are just are not doing it.

He shouldn't have been on the pitch. How on earth Wiley thought that elbow was only worth a booking, i'll never know.

Man Utd v Fulham, 20:00 (apparently not on tv)

Winning tonight will put us 5 points clear of second place Liverpool. And winning against Blackburn on Saturday will put us 8 points clear, all before Liverpool kicking a ball on Sunday. That would be a fantastic boost to the team ahead of the CL game against Inter. Rooney will be on the bench tonight according to Fergie but he'll definitely play.

It would be pretty typical that Utd drop home points now against a team that hasnt won away all season and another that is barely above the relegation zone

(Im hoping now Ive said that a load of goals go in......at the right end :D)

edit - a few reports are saying Neville is out (thankfully) with a virus and Brown is only fit for the bench so Rafael/Eckersley should be starting, and Anderson isnt likely to be fit for the CC Final in 10 days time

I don't want to go and jinx us but if we don't win tonight I'll be very surprised. Ronaldo always score against Fulham. That said, if we don't win tonight I'm blaming you Frank for jinxing us first. :p

I know Rooney has only been out for little over 4 weeks but it feels like an age since we last seen him play. Although we have missed him, the team have still got the results. Hopefully we'll now see a few more goals being scored, and also that this is Rooney's last injury for the season. I'd like to see Nani starting, he can be a bit hit and miss but he nearly always sets up a goal or scores a nice goal from outside the box. He's played only 80 minutes of football since the start of November which I find appalling. He must be a complete ***** behind the scenes if Fergie doesn't like playing him.

I WILL blame the pair of you

:D

If we are to score an away goal (bar Konchesky's) it'll probably be Utd :p. Although looks like Johnson/Konchesky might not play :( so three first teamers out atm, if they don't.
