There be football! 7-8th & 14th Feb *SPOILERS*

Well you can always count on them ******* from West Ham to come out with the classy numbers. Every year it's either Munich or some other vile ****

"You should have died in the Tunnel" Classy, real Classy

Welcome to 1974 where every night is 70's night at West Ham

I would go as far as to say my hatred for them goes way beyond any rivalry with our dear brothers and sisters from up the East Lancs.

Agreed.

That was a nailbiting 90 minutes. I thought Fergie could have made more than the one substitution, and earlier in the game too. Scholes and Giggs cannot play in the same midfield. Scholes for large parts of the game occupied the same area as Carrick leaving West Ham more room to attack. All in all, a decent performance but nothing noteworthy from any of the players. I can't wait until Brown, Evra and Rooney are back in the team. We really could have done with Rooney on the bench coming on for the last 10 minutes or so. But I guess Fergie is protecting him more seeing as this is his first hamstring injury. Best to take his time coming back.

TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!!

edit: Agreed Loki, I despise West Ham, I wish they would just get relegated.

Totally agree with that - but at the end of the day it was WHU (where we havent won for a few seasons and they have won a couple at OT until this season)

Evra is a MASSIVE player who should be back for the FA Cup, much better player than OShea on every aspect of his game, and Rooney is well as likely to be sent off for mouthing off as he is to get the winner lol (but will be a massive boost for the team play)

Unconvincing game. Tactics were definitely wrong.
I said earlier in the season that I can't understand why Ronaldo is being force outwide left when he's the best wide right man in the world and today brought more of the same.

First, for me, we had 3 players who played very well, Berbatov who was at times brilliant, put his foot in, held the ball and all round worked hard. Then Vidic and Ferdinand who repelled everything superbly both in the air and on the floor.

For me the Man of the Match has to be Behrami, he was stunningly good and him and Neill together worked solid to minimize Ronaldo's threat, Behrami went off and 30 seconds later Ronaldo made it into the box and was taken down by Neill, should have been a penalty, but some you win, some you don't and I'm sure we'll get one we don't deserve before the end of the season, but that was what Behrami did well.
I thought Carlton Cole deserved a shout too, he was excellent and worked none stop using his physical presence to try and better our defenders and O'Shea.

Certainly not a match to remember for any reasons, but come the end of the season, if we're Champions, no one will remember that match. Another clean sheet, another one on the goal difference, no injuries and a win away from home.

Man Utd fans are hardly saints though it has to be said. ;)

Absolutely agree 100%. Our rivalry with Liverpool is out of mutual respect and jealousy. West Ham have always had a bee in their bonnet about us Norvern Monkeys. I must have been to about 10 games at Old Trafford and their behaviour goes above and beyond any other club I have seen. It's base to say the very least.

Giggs took his goal well, I don't think the West Ham defenders were expecting a shot from his right foot which is why they were turned so easily. Another clean sheet is brilliant. Tevez was obviously substituted by Fergie to get a response from the crowd (both home and away). It was a nice touch. But I felt bringing Park into the mix so late into the game wasn't going to have any impact at all. The sooner O'Shea is out of the first team the better, there is no nice play between him and anyone on the wing in front of him. Ronaldo had two players on him most of the game and obviously we didn't capitalise on it moving another player into the space left. Evra makes such a difference, I think we are so eager to see him back in the team.
