There be football! 7-8th & 14th Feb *SPOILERS*

A draw would be nice, we'd be 1 point ahead with 2 games in hand. However, I still expect Liverpool to win and go top, Torres and Kuyt will be brought on after 70 minutes.

Heh yeh edited my post though as it sounded wrong. I'm just used to having the place stripped before the weekend is over hehe.

It's all a bit like dreamland at the minute, Champions League football would be amazing and with gap over Arsenal now is looking increasingly likely. Anything more than 4th place would be utterly amazing. We'll see what happens against Chelsea in a couple of weeks.

If we even get a point from that we've got it in the bag really. Club record 7 wins in a row away from home.. if only our home record replicated that we'd have it sewn up, but teams like Fulham come to our place and par the bus. Wigan got bloody lucky as well. I really think 4th is ours if Arsenal slip up, and 3rd or better? I'm not sure. Liverpool and Chelsea are cack but always seem to jam a late goal.

lol! Just watching the Leicester City vs Oldham game on sky! OMG! The keeper has been sent off for Oldham and now Dean Windas is playing in goal for them. Lets see how he gets on for 30 minutes!

**** sake Villa, would you just **** off winning all the time.

Jealousy gets you nowhere mate!

Surely his zimmer frame will be a hinderance!?

Anyone watching the liverpool game? Busy with six nations but assuming from team selection its absolute pants?

Liverpool started off well pushing forward, but for the last 25 minutes of the second half Portsmouth have come back into the game. It has 0-0 written all over it.

Good result for Newcastle today, results obviously more important than performances these days. Our three best players were probably our three new signings as well: R. Taylor, McLoven and Nolan.

Looking forward to watching MoTD for the first time in ages.

:p

Meh, I'd like to call Benitez pathetic but he does have a lot of injuries, however, he didn't have to sell Keane did he. AS I said after the last game it took a whole 50 hours(and what 45mins of football) to see what a massive mistake that was. A injury prone Torres whose missed a lot of the season and has no form to speak of being the only "real" striker at the club.

But even then surely they have someone better than playing an out and out defender in midfield, if not, why not. Maybe he shouldn't have ditched Pennant aswell, he basically handed the title away when ditching two players with mostly no replacements.

As for Villa, they dominated the game today, yes Blackburn had a few chances, the penalty appeals were poop to be honest, and Villa should have had another 3-4 goals at least in the game but were very good. As I've been saying since about 2 weeks into the season, I don't see them as contenders for only the 4th place spot at all. They are title contenders and have Bouma to come back aswell which will only strengthen them aswell as Carew just getting back. Winning it isn't that likely, but with WH a bogey club for Man U, end of the weekend they could be only 2 points off the top with really the only side to increase in strength/depth, with 2 first teamers back from injury and a new signing.

Starting to think it will end up as Man u, Villa, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea this year, mostly because Arsenal have goals, Chelsea have lost theres with afaik, none of their injured players to come back before the end of the season while Arsenal could have 4 first teamers back in the action, Eduardo, Theo, Fabregas, and Rosicky............. well he has a 1 in 100 chance.
