Theres 2 bugs inside my TFT

I’ve read that to prevent this you should saturate some tissue with an insecticide containing ‘perethrin’ and dab it around the frame of your monitor, avoiding the screen obviously, should keep them away. No more invading thunderbugs.

Sorry for the blur. No Tripod with me.

But you can see the bug in the middle of the mouse cursor.

Over my ever so wonderful Dell Widescreen:(

I had one of these 2 summers ago, I just turned off the monitor and left a lamp on at the side of my monitor, if you leave the monitor on they will just stay until they die, I left my monitor off and left the room for 3 hours and when i came back it had gone :)

I have one dead centre of my tab bar in my dell :( CBA with the warrenty thing....I swapped my viewsonic no worrys with that excuse and I am unsure.whether I can be bothered to do it with this one.

.

I had one inside my iMac screen earlier but thankfully it seems to have vanished. Why on earth do they get inside screens?!

Every bloomin year this happens. Last year my dell tft got a bug or thunderfartyfly thing in it and then the dam thing grew into a white spot. One tft ruined.

Anyway I thought sod it im not bothered and carried on using it but sods law will deal me another blow lol. I bet more bugs will come and invade my screen.
I was thinking about this problem earlier, does it effect plasma screens aswell? or is it just tft's?

I can imagine somebody buying a top whack plasma only for a tiny teeny weeny insect to pop along and ruin it.

Buy a TFT you bum(s),

People trying to justify why they still use obsolete technology is a pretty lolworthy matter

The 9600 is still a perfectly acceptable high end gaming GPU too huh?

Riiiiight.

I use Sony 24" CRT's - I haven't seen a TFT that even comes close to matching their ability. I prefer proper blacks, proper colours, the ability to use any screen res that takes my fancy without it looking like a revolting mess, no screen lag, no backlight issues...... Shall I go on?
