thermaltake big typhoon

ok i am going to buy the thermaltake big typhoon but i want to know what the best 120mm fans are to replace or go on top of the stock fan? i want a quiet but very powerful 120mm fan any suggestions?

Get a Thermalright SI-120 with an Akasa or Nexus 120mm fan.

Papst are the best fans though OcUK don't sell those, Vantec Stealths are supposed to be pretty good and quiet.

The big typhoon already comes with a great fan, almost silent too.

yeah the stock one is meant to be pretty damn good.
if you have to change then as said the Akasa ambers from ocuk are about as good as you can get.

omg i just found the 'Thermaltake A1926 Thunderblade 120mm Blue LED Fan' are those specs rite? - Fan Speed 2000rpm, Noise Level 21dBA, Max. Air Flow 78 CFM

ok cool i think i will actually put the 'Thermaltake A2329 Silent Cat Fan 120mm' with a slightly higher 62.2 CFM and the noise level the same as the stock with only 16dB(A)

I had a Typhoon but found it to be louder than my current Heatsink / Fan.

I'd personally reccomend getting the XP-120 like has been said before. The Big Typhoon is a good cooler, but so is the XP-120 and there's less hassle changing fans with the XP.

I have the Thermalright SI-120. Superb Heatsink. Can't praise it enough! Got a nice 120mm Nexus fan on it and it is so quiet!

does it fit a 120mm fan? i think the thermaltake a1926 is the best fan to put on it quiet and powerful any others?

it does have a 120mm fan mount but the thunderblades are not the best fans as they are noisy dont trust those specs

ah but the silent cat is a different fan, i was maerly saying the thunderblades were loud but hey if u want a load fan then get a thunderblade the specs on the thermaltake website are wrong their is no way that fan can push 78cfm and only be 16db
