I haven't spent more than 100 quid on gfx since my 9800 PRO.
Just sold at the right time in order to get the next gen.
and about having each card sixth months.

The shortest length of time I had a gfx card was my 7800 GT,has it about 3 months.

Then bought a 7900 GT for 50 quid from the cost of selling it.
OH I tell a lie i had the 7900 GT for a week but after the cost of the VF900 I thought i would go for the GTX.

Sometimes it can cost you more not upgrading often due to the hardware having low resale value.

Look at all the 7800 GT owners now not being able to shift their cards £150 unless you want one for sli the best option would be getting a next gen card.
