I have a GTX now, why wouldnt the new revision card handle crysis ?

How does your OC'd GT fair ?

Depends on what you call "hammer" and at what resolution.?

If you talking 1920x1200 not a chance. If you talking 1280x1024 then yes it will run fine but then so would the GT.

Here my Crisis results with my Dual Core

Everything high no AA under XP E6600 @ 3.6 - 745/2100/1863

@ 1920x1200

Min 23
Average 28
Max 32

@1680x1080

Min 25
Average 35
Max 41

Thats useful for him.

Depends on what ?
He only asked for one word. Some things that it could depend upon are:

1. How urgently he needs it
2. How much he's prepared to spend
3. Whether he needs UVD because he's got a less powerful CPU
4. Whether an integrated HDMI with sound is important
5. What games he plays
6. What's the balance between gaming and video watching
7. Is noise important
8. Is ~18% increase in performance worth ~18% increase in price
9. Does he like green or red
Edit : 10. Does he have an Antec TPQ 850 / 1000
etc.
