Thick neighbours

For most birds - if you get Seagulls nesting there though you might change your tune :P

Oh indeed! (I stay by the sea in Cornwall every year, i know the noise and mess they can create :p). I'm sure i could put up with a couple, but certainly not the same amount as i have Sparrows!
They don't tend to nest in your roof though, more on it, which is easier to deal with i suppose.

Destroying an active nest is not funny at all and all the folk on here making fun of it are just as bad as the scum neighbours.

Will the RSPCA pay for a new paint job on the car after the birds have crapped all over it, no! Bye bye nest!, go crap somewhere else!

It must be nice living in a gray concrete world with no wildlife and no nature. As long as your paint job is fine.

Nothing worse than a retched neighbour. At my last place one quiet Sunday afternoon we heard a BANG. Went out the front (as did quite a few others) to see our opposite neighbour reloading an air rifle and then taking aim at a birds nest in their guttering.

My sister told them they can't do it and they're protected etc. Their response was "well they make noise and a mess" - ah yes seems perfectly reasonable to murder a family of animals doesn't it?

We called the RSPCA and explained, it got forwarded onto the police and then said neighbour came knocking and asked if it was us who reported them and demanded money for the fine they had been slapped with.

I told them they had half a street of witnesses then just shut the door in his face.

Idiots, the world's full of them.

Anyway he'll be getting a good dose of brake fluid/super glue/drain cleaner all over his motor when we move and his collection of stinking Nikes he leaves in the communal corridor will somehow float into the bins outside when we leave in a couple months. Karma.

Publicly advertising criminal damage towards a fellow residents property, and he is the chav?

Shirley there are better methods you could employ.

I didn't find out till hours later or would have put it up on back of my house and hoped sparrows found it in time - to late now.

Did they kill the sparrows before binning them or did they die after a few hours of being in a bin?

Well the police won't step in, not unless they've been spoon fed the evidence (with regards to the chav's criminal damage to my gf's car).

What are they going to do about the smoke/pot being smoked outside every other night and wafting into my flat?

What about the blaring TV / Music / Porn / Games until 03:00 at least once a week.

What can they do about him using the communal bins as his personal landfill site or the recycling bin being filled with non-recyclables and as a consequence the rubbish being ignored for weeks.

What about the smashed bottles and spent cans littering the flat entrance?

Police can do sod all in these situations.

And yes, we've asked, unless we can provide video evidence they are not interested in the slightest.

Anyway not to thread hijack, back on topic.

As someone who breeds birds I'd have gone straight over if I saw that and had him in a keyboard chokehold and with the ctrl and z key smashed into his forehead until the police arrived

No excuse for that sort of behaviour.
