Thieves! :(

So when you say the keys were hidden what do you mean? In a coat pocket in the hall?

Just a bit puzzled because some people in this thread are going on about leaving the keys out in the house to avoid being interrogated and you say you are glad they found them, so why hide them in the first place?

Glad he got his car back though :)

The keys were in a drawer near the front door, so not hard to find but not on display. My keys were on the side in the kitchen. though to get to the kitchen also the way he went in he had to go through a gate at the side of the property, then force a door into the outhouse. Then into the kitchen.

My keys were not visible unless in the kitchen. Then he still left them alone in favour of finding the other cars set.

4 posts, and they are all the advertising the same thing.

My favourite is the version he posted in a thread about burglars in Sims 3 :D

Please define 'really' wants to get in?

Bulldozer through the wall, maybe?

What were talking about here is entering through an unlocked window or picking a lock, and grabbing a set of keys on the kitchen table. These things can be easily be avoided using common sense and security available to you such has dead locks and keys etc...manufactures guarantee this along as it's used correctly.

What, people thing they have 007 entering there home and there's no point resisting! lol

Which manufacture guarantees domestic glass from a towel and a centre punch?

This is why I put my alarm on before bed.

Sorry it happened but at least no one is hurt and insurance should cover this without too much hassle.

Edit - didn't realise it was an old thread, my bad.

I was wondering why this got bumped, yep an old thread. For those skipping to the end my housemate got the car back and despite the police getting loads of prints from inside the car. They were following the criminal but he got spooked and did a runner.
The police said they knew who it was and that he had prievious, we still to this day have had no mention about an arrest being made.

My housemate got everythign he had in the car back too but our laptops were never recovered. All in all a positive end, but I am not sure how much of this is down to the thiefs stupidity. :)
