Not quite as simple as that. Its about Demographics - and Environment of OCUK forums

This!
Only popped in there from time to time and everytime I see it's a post saying "I'm cold", "I'm sleepy", "I'm going to shoot myself in the head".
Can't they go onto mumsnet to post that bile?![]()

Then it descended into the same people posting pretty much everything they ever bought. Wow an SD card. Exciting. Oh you went to Starbucks and bought some coffee? Great. Thanks for sharing. Wow is that a pair of Levi jeans? etc etc.
I only have 3 straps you gimp.
I mean Mr Gimp.
If anything TIAM needs banning. What exactly is the point of it? At least buying stuff thread serves a purpose in that people do see things that look interesting and end up buying themselves.
TIAM has a very simple purpose.
It takes all the rubbish that people post (myself included), and condenses it into a single thread, which generally stops it spilling into other threads.

Or an ill fitting suit...
People should be banned for posting stuff deemed boring by the masses, it'll make the thread more exciting.
A better discussion would be about why there are so many “official” threads with stars in the titles. Why do they need stars? Why do they need to be labelled as official? I don’t see the OcUK forums having sections for competitors or other partners so it’s a bit of a wasted effort surely![]()
Then ban anyone who posts mundane every day boring crap that they have bought, just keeping interesting stuff for people to discuss.
