Things I don't like (TIDL) thread

Flaevius, the other password was lost / not written down, ergo "lost account". But you might recall a phrase it contained:

There is no mystery that likes us not

- bluntly, our particular (western) civilization is adept and not afraid of solving problems. Thus mystery likes us, since we 'undo' its ails.

The thread being locked by Maccy as being too old to be revived, and no one pointing me to the claimed poetry comp substitute (I couldn't find it) -' despite my asking if I recall correctly.

I find such things therapeutic for my dryness. A childhood habit, as noted above. The collected works editions of Shakespeare, and Oscar Wilde, were the brainfood of those days.

Foxeye - I see no argle woo stuff in my posts on-screen, nor posted any. I can only suppose the forum software mangles latin, or foreign languages, for show to viewers.

Ftr, aside from the last 2.5 to 3 weeks here I have posted absolutely nothing online in any forum soever, blog or other thing, for about 10 calendar years. Hence my rustiness. Im pretty much a whale: rarely seen, at home in the deep, soon to return there, etc.

Of course the deletion of my post above by the mod was quite legitimate by the full technicality of the definition of dirt: matter in the wrong place.

NVR - I tried to reply to your earlier post at the time but couldn't post it due to a "exceeded forum limit of 15 posts in 24 hours" restraint.

Tim Westwood.

There is not a legit thing about that bloke.
I kind of agree, but without westwood we wouldn't have the hip hop culture and industry in the uk we currently do. I'd probably be wearing v-neck jumper vests and corduroy trousers hahaha! Now...

Not being able to figure out why the red "1" that appears above my inbox tab is still there despite having clicked on it 3x over the course of 4-5 hrs.. It only contains "inappropriate

This is reason enough to divert 95% of all government budgets into developing time travel, going back to 1950 and whacking his to-be mother, Terminator style.

How long it took me to realise we had an ignore button still, thought it died when the new format cane in.

Used and working.

Ugh. Just give this guy 1000 postcount already so he can have MM access.

Otherwise I'm gonna have to get my clobbering keyboard out.

I'm intrigued as to why these "personalities" decide to join a tech forum to just post utter guff, is it just attention seeking? Surely there is somewhere better to go?

Both RxR and the coa9991 chap stand out as very odd. They must he returnees surely?

Over the past few days I've seen threads that have been started which are just utter non sense. Don't they have more important things do think about or do?!??!

Well I just got rid of a report to a fund manager (a hedger) that was seriously doing my head in. And still in the middle of moving home. Sometimes you (I) need actual human contact that isn't mainly solitary work for years on end.

On conceit: who can afford it? If only the dumb have the necessity for continuous hard mental effort, then I can quite agree that I am the dumbest seen for 200 years. There's no cure for it, no. Thus I exceed my peers in idiocy trapped by the curse of savant.

NVP that I seem to have failed in self-mockery seems to prove my claim to my own idiocy justified. :-)

Spiders. We've had three massive ones crawling in during the night in as many days. Nearly stood one of them just.
