Things I don't like (TIDL) thread

trying to open cereal boxes without destroying them

hanging out washing

people who just say right, yeah etc pretending they know what you're talking about but have no clue...so the discussion you wanted to have isn't possible...they could just say they don't understand...waste of time!

The transitive fractal of human attention.

That experiment with a new perception filter can block pain of many kinds, but only for about 60 seconds on each firing. A p60k effect controller of vagal and cognitive tone. Effectively, a very brief form of local anaesthesia. This experiment was conducted to:

1. ascertain the most basic underlying mechanism of pain control used by a Scandinavian who appeared recently on Aussie tv (60 Minutes?). Its accurate to say his particular conditioning method (cold-water immersion) and interpretation of cause is not required.

2. find a way to block my knee joint pain so as to ease performance of physiotherapy exercises. It works reasonably well. One eventual goal is to see if I can sprint again for at least 50m, preferably without major swelling after.

On the downside, it appears to have a dampening effect on hearing.

People who say you are sitting in their seat even though the whole train is empty.

I would do this tbh. I don't want to get moved if someone with a reserved seat gets on at another stop?

For me it's loud eaters, and people that tell me they're tired and/or ill.

Discovering two additional components required for a full remedy for a common health-condition after I thought I had fully solved it ten years earlier (in 2006-7, after some 13 years research). It so turned out I had only remedied major symptoms (accounting for about 85% of the problem) in one of the two case types. I had only solved for the statistically smaller of the two case groups (about 30% of the total affected population).

Having to talk louder (and my kids having to complain about it) due to asymmetric (one ear) two-channel pulsatile tinnitus. :-)

Tories, people who vote tory, anyone that even slightly agrees with any element of right wing thinking and completely ignorantly ignores histories lessons.

People who can't draw a really 'smack you in the face obvious' parallel between what literally happened in the past and what is happening now with brexit, trump, boris etc

Brexiters then I don't like...:D, especially the ones you present facts to and they just keep battering the drum which makes my opinion of them fall even more.

People that don't care about others.

The newspapers in the UK - really hate those **** rags.

Getting up silly early

Unproductive days

Pretty much my list, otherwise, life is just a wonderful gift :D
