isnt 1080p a lil overkill for 37"?

NO :p

It isn't overkill for the 24 inch dell, it certainly isn't for a 37 inch TV if being used for consoles/PC/HD video.

And at £560 it is incredibly good value.

Get some nice clothes. Screw the geeks suggesting buying technical stuff. You're up the proverbial if it goes wrong in most cases. :/
No you're not.
Nowadays it's only an odd case that you'd get stuck.

Buy laptops whilst your out there,so cheap.
I picked one up in the summer for £190 and it cost £450 to buy over here!
You wanna bring back an airbrush and a HDTV for me? ;) :p

cant find the link but Vista Ultimate costs £599 here, in America it costs a mere $679 (£345)

why not buy 100s over there and sell them here and make profit? ;)

Don't your radio stations broadcast on the even decimal point of frequency though?

Like over here the common radio stations are 88.9FM, 101.5FM, 107.7FM, etc and as such only have selections for the odd decimals (101.1 to 101.3, no 101.2 available). Aren't your equivilants 88.8FM, 101,4FM and 107.6FM?
