Things to do in Edinburgh at the end of November?

Thanks all for the replies, much appreciated, I think I've now got enough for my next 3 trips and then some...

A lot of the restaurants are fully booked already, I should probably have thought about this earlier, but hey ho, you live and learn.

We've booked Makars for lunch on the Friday to set us up for the day, travelling up for about 11am, then we're going to organise the rest of the weekend tomorrow, hopefully see some of the sights.

Hopefully somewhere for a nice steak on the Saturday night, if not, some of the restaurants suggested so far on here look fantastic if there's any availability.

Don't bother with Mary King's Close. I've been twice, the first time was quite a few years ago and it wasn't a rush round, the guide knew their stuff and really took their time. I went back a couple of years ago and it was a one hour tour, really pushing people round quickly and the tour guide wasn't very knowledgable.
