Things to do on a plane

Buy some bottles of water, orange juice and coke and keep mixing them together in different quantities, cursing yourself when it turns the wrong colour, then start laughing and sniggering to yourself whilst charnting the Koran.

Reciting the Quran. :p Not chanting lol.

You could play Connect 4 if you bring a pre drawn grid on a sheet of paper with you. Just use (as you mentioned in the OP) copper coin for one player, and silver for the other.

Alternatively, if you're feeling liek being a bit of a *****, you could just scream "Arrrghh....BOMB" then pretend to faint, so no-one can question you about your outburst.

Alternatively, you could spend hours trying to decipher this post:

Get everyone to do a mexican wave, play bogeys (repeat with different words, maybe rude ones) :D

Find someone who speaks another language to teach you, or if you have some silly accent or come from where people speak funny, find someone posh and brush up on your english.

Otherwise sleep.

:o

Does anyone know what the current stance is on sweets at the mo? (Short haul) I presume they might frown at a big bag of haribo or something but I wonder what about a small packet of polos.

Failing that I might just bring a pack of strepsils tomorrow and claim they are for medical purposes lol.

You're only allowed prescription medicines. I'm sure of you wanted some sweets you could buy them on the aircraft.

Mate, they won't let you take anything on like that - no sweets, nothing other than what's on the prescribed list. And the way things are at the moment, I wouldn't want to be the one to try the patience of the security people by trying - they'll have you in a small room, naked, with their fingers up your backside before you can cough :(

Oops I'm currently on antibiotics but unfortunately dont have a prescription label on them - as they were given directly by dentist. They are sealed though and in a proper box. I presume these would be ok?

I dont want to chance putting them in my hold luggage if at all possible incase I dont see them again for a while!
