Things you hate about your favorite games.

All of the 3D GTA games:

  • The aiming and lock on controls are crap!!!
  • Vehicles disappearing as soon as they go out of view!!!
  • Draw distance and distance for objects to 'pop in' goes down significantly when driving/flying at speed - you can't avoid things if you cant see em till the last second!!!

Devil May Cry- annoying camera.

Mass Effect - The Mako has the silliest controls compared to any other vehicle, real or imagined.
- Lots of bugs.

I can't think of any more off the top of my head but everyone hears me complain when I'm playing the game!! :D

No, the penalties in PES are rubbish. Pick one of 6 directions and press shoot.

In FIFA at least you can choose the power AND direction AND whether it is a normal shot, finesse shot or power shot. As the keeper you can also move along the line.

It makes penalties much more interesting over PES.

In FIFA 08 the penalties are pathetic just for the fact the keeper only has to run to each of the side of the goal to save one. It;s impossible to save a top corner penalty and equally easy to score one.

They need to sort it.

Half-Life:
Nothing at all. I loved everything about it. The only thing I wasn't happy with was its sequel, Half Life 2.

PGR2:
The Porsche Boxter Moscow speed ring. Grrr it was hard :p.

Max Payne:
Nothing at all, and unlike Half-Life, I loved its sequel.

Forza 2:
AI that randomly hits you and turns into irrespective of having the better track position.

Half-Life:
Nothing at all. I loved everything about it. The only thing I wasn't happy with was its sequel, Half Life 2.

You didn't even think that the alien levels were a bit rubbish? Or that the bundled TFC was a very dumbed down version of QW TF? :)

I'm not counting the bundled stuff.
I also liked the change of Xen, it wasn't (at at least I didn't find it as bad) as everyone made out. I thought it was a cracking ending to the game.

Mass Effect - Framerate gets to the point of being unplayable on some battles (Thorian lair earlier got really laggy, made it really hard against some of the enemies on Hardcore mode...)

Shenmue - Might never see the conclusion.

skate. Framerates on PS3 and the fact you can't get off your board :(

Lock-on : uber pc needed to play and still not playable on full!

Uncharted: Spawning pirates all over the place
Ratchet & Clank: Too easy, graphically could be better/more detailed
GT5:Prologue: Online play, not enough races, 7 hours of grinding needed to get the F1
Warhawk: Teamkillers that want the wespon I am using
DiRT: 30fps is 30fps too low
Motorstorm: Bigrigs are horrible, I hate having to drive them against bikes and rallycars.
Pain: Everything really, isn't as funny as it looked.

And propably a lot more that I forgot to mention.

Lost Odyssey ~ stupid save points. I've got a wife and kid so at times I have to save when I have to save. Putting save points up to 2 hours apart is damn stupid and has meant I haven't put nearly as much time in to it as I would have liked. Even a 'save and resume' feature would have done.

GHIII ~ damn stupid bosses and damn stupid ridiculous ramp up in difficulty on the last few tracks on hard.

Stalker - you can practically lay on the floor and still not pull of an accurate shot 9/10 times.
counter strike source - its counterstrike, a reason to both love it and hate it:p
bioshock - too linear, frustrating on the hardest setting
cod4 - magic spawning enemies with magic grenades.
Audiosurf - the fact that other people are vastly better at it than me
Ratchet & clank - too short, fantastic game
Uncharted - too short
GT5P - online mode. the graphics are, for the most part, fantastic.
