Things you hate about your favorite games.

Halo 3

- Idiots at bungie still haven't figured out how to allow manual mapping of all buttons
I really don't get this about 360 games. None of them seem to offer you the ability to remap the buttons as you see fit, yet it's easy as hell to code. I did it in a day for a piece of coursework last year. How can they not bother doing it?

Cheating AI in FIFA. Making my passes go to players that I blatently didnt want the pass to go to!
I love the Wii PES for this. Passes go exactly where I want. :)

That said, also for the Wii PES '08:

Why oh why do I have to shake the nunchuk to shoot? Now I have no control over the power or placement of my shot, not to mention how utterly redundant it makes free kicks.

Call of Duty series...

- Crappy AI team mates
- Enemy respawning (urgh)
- Enemy one shot head shots (on veteran)
- Enemy homing grenades (COD4 on veteran)
- Silo Level on COD2 (enough said)

Final Fantasy 7. People keep banging on and on about a remake so much that square will eventually cave in and make it. But there is no way on gods green earth they will get it right and it will completely ruin both the game and the years of nostalgic childhood memories!

The belief that console gamers like things over simplified.

Mass Effect:
The Mako unpleasantness...
And regardless of how I kit out or train my character she always runs around with an arsenal of weapons on her back.

Forza 2
There's a hateful bit of (what I assume is) disc accessing that stops the game for the merest of split seconds about two thirds of the way round the Nordschleife . It's always just before a tricky corner too. :(
Tuning becomes a tedious nightmare too.

World of Warcraft
- The Burning Crusade

Call of Duty 4
-Was too short
-Some scopes were not included in MP
-Heli's & Bomb runs

Lost Odyssey ~ stupid save points. I've got a wife and kid so at times I have to save when I have to save. Putting save points up to 2 hours apart is damn stupid and has meant I haven't put nearly as much time in to it as I would have liked. Even a 'save and resume' feature would have done.

GHIII ~ damn stupid bosses and damn stupid ridiculous ramp up in difficulty on the last few tracks on hard.

Two excellent points, although I don't have the wife and kid :p

I have almost stopped trying on GH3.

Guitar Hero 3
- Stupid bosses cheat against you
- Note charts are made artificially hard and you have to play parts in songs that arent played on a guitar (like most of the dragonforce song)
- Horribly broken POS guitars that never respon properly and activate star power when it feels like.

Crysis
- Enemies can take a clip of bullets before dying, so much for its much touted realism
- You can be spotted a mile away whilst hiding behind a forests worth of shrubbary
- The tank section which im on now is horrible and im stuck.

Odin Sphere
- Just bloody hard and the enemies can cheap their way through all your moves.

Dead Rising
- Sooo damn hard. Shame because its a really fun game that i can barely get through the first day on before becoming zombie nom noms.
