I'm blanking him when it comes to motors though as i believe a man should be able to do Anything, it's how we conquered the planet after all. I can strip a motor to nuts & bolts & put it back together again & have been able to since Before i left school. I started with push bikes, then mopeds, then trials bikes, then road bikes & scooters then cars.

It's certainly a useful skill, don't get me wrong but it's expected that blokes know about cars and women know about cooking and stuff - I'd rather rattle up a lobster thermidor than strip a carburettor (or whatever it is you do with carburettors).

Anyway as far as the tea goes when using Teabags it has to be Teabag on its own then teabag binned & then add milk. Years ago the only reason milk was added first was to stop the fragile china cups everybody used breaking & not actually for the taste. See i told you us oldys know a thing or two

Didn't know that about the cups. They say any day in which you learn something new, hasn't been a complete waste - sounds reasonable to me.

I forgot about the electric plugs earlier. My Mam applied for a job as a sales assistant (many years ago) in an electrical retailer. The interviewer asked her if she could tell him how to wire a plug, she owned up and said she couldn't. He asked her how she would cope if a customer wanted her to put a plug on an appliance before they bought it. She answered "same as I do at home, I'd take the back off another plug and copy that". She didn't get the job

Milk First and then add water so you dont burn the tea and so get more flavour

Why dont we get disposable tea like we do coffee

And simply put, tea without milk just tastes odd, at this point you are only one step away from drinking herbal teas and no-one wants to be 'that guy'.

I always put the milk in first, even before the water...

I told a french woman off for doing this to tea (when I lived in france). It's teabag out, then milk in!

Never add milk while the teabag is still in, you'll lower and the temperature and throw off the whole brewing process. Don't shock the leaves ever!

Oh, heavens. Just moved into my new house, and there's so much I don't know..! How to switch off the main water supply... what day the bins are collected... how on earth to assemble that huge self-assembly wardrobe I stupidly bought!

In the grand scheme of things, how to know whether someone is right for you? I'm living by the idea that no matter how things may seem, have no doubt that the universe is unfolding just as it should.

Actually you are all wrong about how to make tea ...

Take one large tea bag, add to 1 litre of cold water in a jug and stir. Place in fridge for several hours and then drink.

Admittedly these are specific tea bags for making cold Japanese Green Tea, (can be a bit of a aquired taste).
