Think 25

I hate it. So annoying, specially now, i have to write down the ID number of people who i have ID'ed and who are old enough.

What sort of stupid rule is that? It takes up time and seems to make people feel a little uneasy, why im recording there details..

Makes me want to ID less, because i know theres all the kuffufle to come after.

Well i'm nearing 23 and still look 17/18, chances are I still will at 25. I'm all for it, give my mates a bit of fun everytime we go out too.

I got ID'd for the first time in almost 10 years.

Took me all of about 5 seconds to show some ID and get on with being served.

There's no way I'd ever consider myself to look anywhere near 18 anymore, and if the guy behind the bar were to guess my age, I doubt he'd have guessed that I was anywhere near 18 either. But that's not the point. It takes all of 5 seconds to make sure, so it is a good policy to just check any 'young' person, no matter how unlikely you think they might be under age. Obviously checking ever pensioner is taking it too far, but to aim to check anyone who looks 'around' 25 is a good policy imo.

I'm just pleased I can still be considered as 25, never mind 18 :D

How old are you mate?

The thing is, the real problem is the local offie (off license) as they never seem to check for age, people in supermarkets need (I wish) to use more of a common sense approach.

IMO, anyway.

I'll be 25 in September and I can (and frequently do!) pass for 17. My boyfriend has two friends who have looked older than 25 since they were 17. It's not always easy to guess someones age just by looking at them.

Just keep the I.D card in you wallet with your other cards?

No way! I am probably the most memory challenged person in the world, While I am (begrudgingly) almost ok with losing credit cards and debit cards, ID cards are a lot more hassle to replace.

I think since I was 16, I have lost about 4 wallets, and at least 10 phones, I really am the worlds worst, and I am butt of a lot jokes from friends because od this.

But, another point, Why should I carry ID around? Thats one of the things I hate about America, when I was out there, I was stopped in San Francisco for a random stop, and the police didn't know what to when I said I didn't have ID on me.

Like when you get pulled over while driving in the states, first question is 'license and registration' WTF?

Maybe I am being a little paranoid in a way, but living in London, I think I am subconsciously (well, now consciencly) rebelling against CCTVs.

Sorry for the TL;DR
