Dude WHY do you care what others here think? Jesus. I'd have RMA'ed it, probably cost Intel 20 dollars to make if that and its not like its a common thing to RMA a cpu so i doubt it would've had ANY impact on future prices. Half the fools who preach from their high horse would've RMA'ed it and not told anyone. From your original post and further actions.. maybe you've got some anger management issues mate.

i think i read something a long time ago (on this forum) that it only costs intel about 1p to make each cpu, its the research/development that costs the big cash
