The connectivity is decent, like with the M.2 slots, but X670 has no PCI-E 5.0 graphics, so the B650E boards like the Strix B650E-F and B650E-E tend to be more popular than the X670 boards.

If you're going to do any memory OCing whatsoever save money and buy a Asrock B650M-HDV/M.2. If you need WiFi it has a dedicated WiFi module slot to add to.

Only other options for 2 DIMM at the end high are the X670E GENE and it's still a "small fortune".

AMD processors are that bloody efficient with power/performance you don't need a crazy VRM, for OCing prioritise 2 DIMM. Only really crap VRMs on super low end boards might be questionable.

Example - https://wccftech.com/asrock-110-us-...rclocking-world-record-amd-ryzen-9-7950x-cpu/

7950x setting a world record on this board.

What CPU do you have? Will you overclock?

For this rig I'd be getting 7800x3d - no won't be overclocking, but I've seen AMD are releasing new 700 chipset boards soon, so might be better waiting, although with the posters' above comments probably makes sense to get a x670E for the GPU PCIE 5 of which only the Asus Prime x670E Asus Prime would be in my price bracket.

That said if new chipset is going to be released, the prices of the x670E might come down
