I am considering adding a Wii next to my xbox 360...I love my 360 but it doesn't have any games like mario, that have cartoon graphics and are fun (So i would like a mix of competitive live gaming and just pure fun) I want one because of mario kart (its online) Is it worth it or am i being silly?

Another vote for you being silly here. If you just want to play Mario Kart then get a DS as you will play it a lot more.

Many, many people on here have said how their Wii's are just gathering dust. I think Kreeeee is the only person who still plays his :p

Not sure how old you are, but I find the Wii concept and most games to be aimed at a younger audience than me. Seems more like the little brother of the proper games consoles.

That said, with a few mates over it can be a great laugh, just probably not as great for singleplayer stuff in my opinion.

I am, however, a PC gamer at heart, so you don't need to listen to me!

It's up to you really, there really is a lot of shovel ware for the Wii, too much in fact and Gems generally get caught up and no one really seems to notice. My advice is that you've already got a 360 so a Wii isn't really needed unless you've got other people to play with (more than 2+).

As much as I love my Wii a lot of people are picky about what they want their system to do. I'd go with what others say and get a DS or if you're not in any rush then wait for the DSi.

Quality titles are starting to emerge now. Disaster day of crisis, House of the Dead, Dead Rising, The Conduit, Pikmin, Madworld, Tenchu 4.. actually there's a lot coming for the Wii :D.

Unless any of those games don't appeal to you then It isn't worth it. Just wait for another family member to get one so you can use it ;).

Only the bottom screen is touch sensitive.

I think he means that the new DSi has 2 touchscreens, can't find a source though.

I was very anti wii until I got one.

I own a 360 and that is what I use for MP and single player gaming - The wii is a different console all together. The wii shines when having mates and family over it is such a fun experience better than the 360 because anyone can jump on it and start playing, combined with some drinks just makes the experience even more fun & hilarious.

I'd say get one if you regularly have mates/family over if not stick to the 360.

The wii has a good enough back log of game now to keep new buyers going, you just have to be aware that the system has a lot of shovel ware :(
