Mine was an official Hori and bought it from a reputable seller, I played Guitar hero non stop for a week and it was wrecked by the time I'd finished, light use it's probably fine, but it isn't worth the money imo as the screen is still perfect on my DSi anyway.
 
I had a normal DS Hori and it was pants. My screen hadn't scratched in 3 years use without it so I wouldn't waste any money.
