I'm thinking of buying a 1950xtx to go with a 939 system I'm trying to put together. Just got a few questions.

What the minimum x2 CPU I should be looking at to compliment this card?

I'll be gaming at 1280 x 1024 as I only have a 19inch monitor. Could this resolution bottleneck the card?

Can someone tell me the length of the card please as I can't find that info anywhere?

What sort of power supply should I be looking at to power this card? Rails etc.

Thanks.

i've had a 1950xtx for a year now and its been fantastic...

i use it with a dell 24" @ 1920 res for most games. i can play 1920 res and full settings on ut04 (some intense maps stutter-this is where i have to turn down the testure to high from highest) dirt for example runs like crap on any res. HL2 etc runs superb. btw this is on a 4400+ 939.

i think the highest cpu u can get on a 939 is 4400+ :(

on ** res you should see no problems whatsoever..

I've just bought it off the bay. Its about £106 excluding postage so a little bit more that 100 quid.

I don't know if I trust the guy, it seems very cheap and he only accepts direct bank transfers :o , but he's got a load of recent feedback as he's shifted a load of them and other more recent cards too.

It looks legit but the direct bank transfer thingy has put me off a bit. Didn't notice he didn't accept paypal till after I bought it. :o

mmm only ones I can see are from Bedford, not one of those is it ? nice little disclaimer in there which reads

"This was purchased as part of a Job lot of computer bits and is offered for auction with no reserve subject to the following conditions

The card is Untested. It is offered WITHOUT any warranty or guarantee

There is NO return on this item"

Please tell me it's not one of those and if it is I've got my fingers X'd for ya

a X1900XTX is better.

G-DDR 3 > G-DDR4

I've had both.

want to swop me for a 1950xtx for my 1900xtx then :)

HAD both.

Sent the X1950XTX back ;)

X1900XTX is the best DX9 card ATI make, and I think the best Non DX10 card there is (not counting the GX2 thing, I think thats a cheat and doesn't even work in half of the games due to requiring SLI.)
