Last july i deciced to give up with BE* (unlimited) and go with sky broadband because i decided to order the full tv package from them but i was more than happy with BE getting around 8mb download spead , the reason i changed was because sky max was nearly half the price and i thought id put the saving towards sky sports package lol , anyway was after i changed to sky i was getting around 6.5 to 7mb so i was happy as i was getting nearly the same speed for half the price
fast forward to december and we moved house, after informing sky we waited for the broadband to be set up at the new house, to cut a long story short we had to wait a month because of their cockups, we got activated this wednesday gone and we are getting 4mb absolute max
Im really annoyed at this and for a very good reason , the thing is weve moved CLOSER to the exchange and we now live in a LESS populated area ? so obviously we expected higher speeds, so we must have a duff line or sky is playing silly buggers, anyway ive been thinking of going back to BE
I wanted to know if i would see a major increase over my current 4mb if i subscribed to their unlimited or pro package ? on their site is estimates around 11mb but i'll take that with a pinch of salt
what do you guys reckon ?
