Thinking Of Getting A DS Lite

just got back from gamestation, they said they don't exchange them unless it has 10 dead pixels and mine only has 1 :mad: so i aksed for there customer service number,called them up said about trading standards etc... and they said that the shop have to exchange it. So then i went back to the shop, they called customer services up and i now have another ds lite hopefully dead pixel free :D

Yeh i checked in two different tesco's before buying it and they were both £12, extremely goodprice.
 
I've noticed today ive got a dead pixel on the bottom screen on the left hand side. Should i take it back?

Also, were can you get cartridge protectors from? I only want one.

What's the verdict on this one then matey? Was looking at it myself but couldn't decide, was waiting for a some I know to give some feedback.

i'd take it back,if i've got to pay £99.99 for an item i expect it to be in fully working order. i just found a dead pixel on mine, back again tomorrow, 3 ds lites in 3 days :mad:
 
Seems strange that there are so many pixel problems, considering the original DS wasn't too bad for them, the PSP seems to be the worst, however my DS is fine, been checking it tonight :)
 
Yeah it's £40 off, so DSL for £60, which isn't that bad if you can't bothered to eBay it like me :o

I'm trading in my old DS & 3 games on saturday for a white DSL & nSMB, can't wait :D

Actually not got round to playing it. :o

Round my girlfriends house at the moment and left the DS at home. Will play it tomorrow and let you know. :)

Same here my DSL is fine.
 
i got mine from Amazon, no stuck/dead pixels. If they are dead they would be black. If they are coloured then they are stuck.
If they are coloured then try and gently masage the area... usually works.
How can you only get a stuck pixel on one game (to who ever said that) that makes no sense what so ever.
I wonder if people imagine it sometimes.. ;)

All these returns will sure be cutting into the profit margins, especially with the reports of dirt behind the screen. Slapped wrists for the manufacturers.

So far:

Metroid Prime - 9/10 Awesome, just gotta get some online games against you lot. So far getting spanked by randoms.
Brain Training - 10/10 simply because even my mum has had a few goes! Oh and its bloody addictive.
Sonic Rush - 8/10 Pending because i have not played enough of it yet and i am still a bit poor which can be frustrating.
 
Oh man. You lot going on about this DS lite business have aroused my curiosity. Will have to wait til payday until I can get one. :mad: Did I see somewhere that they are completely region free so you can play a game from any country/territory?
