Insert standard "argh Maxtor comment" here.
Nah, it all looks fine. As said it won't offer much of a performance benefit over your current PC but if it is for someone else then it is a good system for the price.![]()
-also, do you need agp and pci-e on the motherboard?
i'd switch the maxtor for a WD or a Samsung drive

The X1950 pro is slower than a 7800GTX so you would see a performance drop in most games. I would keep your current graphics card and spend more on a good overclocking motherboard (Gigabyte GA_P35C_DS3R).
If it's for someone else then it looks good.
My mistake. I was looking at a chart and compared it to a 7900GTX.i thought the x1950 is faster?

only if its an xtx i think.
The motherboard only supports DDR2 677 or below, so unless everyone else ahs heard that it supports 800Mhz DDR2 fine then id lower your RAM. All i remember hearing is that it was tested and it was tempremental as hell with 800Mhz Memory in it.

Oh, and go for the 450w corsair psu for a couple of qudi extra instead
Cheers hadn't noticed that. Though only having one 12v rail concerns me.
yeah but the pro is just a lower clocked version of the xtx anyway.
