Ugh I need to find a new pillow but can't believe how expensive some of them are. £99 for one? :eek: really??
Been having a dodgy neck recently so bought a Tempur Original pillow, cost me £90 from argos but it's soooo nice.
 
Can't get to sleep and feeling down, like I'm going to a cry soon :( I almost did when I got home tonight but managed to hold it in. Maybe I just need to watch a soppy movie tomorrow and cry it all out :o :p

Lol don't worry :p I just have a lot of stress at the moment to the point it's making me sick again :( I just need to let it all out somehow rather than bottling it up

Thankfully working from home today so have some peace and quiet :cool: (other than the cat snoring :o:D)
 
I remember similar when we had an IKEA kitchen fitted. Wrong colour shelving, worktops were wrong sizes.. But once we phoned up, they arranged to sort it and it was a simple pick up or drop off, all my within a few days apart from on the worktops. They are pretty dire it seems with their kitchens, as we heard many stories of people with these issues.

Well my story has just gotten worse. I had the 3rd worktop fitted, and everything was looking good, then a few days later the tiler arrived to do the wall that the worktop adjoins, and called me whilst I was at work so say that one of the joins between worktop pieces is showing signs of bowing. Bowing shouldn't happen after only 2-3 days of being fitted, and so its likely to get worse over time and therefore I need a 4th worktop.

Four worktops, for one kitchen. I've started to write down all the problems I've had and will fire off a big email tomorrow with everything that has gone wrong and how much time and effort its cost me personally. Going to ask for an upgrade to a stone worktop as compensation as at least stone won't bow...

That is beyond terrible. I'd expect something for that like you say. Either an upgrade to something better or what I've chosen to be in the expected quality and to be free. We had a very thin worktop, but was made to shape so had no joins, but both it and it's two thirds version that arrived before it were both top quality.

I now have less than a week before uni part two begins. Can not wait.
 
Woke and checked time thinking it said 6.39am and thought cats had done well not to wake me so early. Nope turns out it was 5.39am. Little *****

They're now fed and I'm going to lay on the sofa and go back to sleep :o
 
Well this is just great. We've booked to go to Madrid next May for a mates stag do.

The flight times we booked to come home were 13:45. It said this on the website and on the booking confirmation i have.

Just went to check something on their website and the flight is showing as 9am. I've just rang them and they've said that the 13:45 flight is cancelled and the system automatically re-arranged us, but didn't bother to let us know.

There's about 40 people travelling so it's either going to be a ball-ache to book an alternate flight or slightly less boozing on the last day :(

When I went to HK/Taipei last year I had a connection in HK, I made sure the connection was 2 hours 45mins, which is plenty of time. A flight was cancelled and the system had changed our flight on the first leg from Taipei to HK 3 hrs back so that means we would miss our connection…
I rang up and spoke to someone on the phone and essentially said “See the flight times your screen, spot the error”.
She went “oh”

Luckily, there as another flight 10mins before our original one so we still had the same buffer as before, god knows why the system didn’t pick that flight.
