Reminds me of the time when I was about 4/5 years old my mum had a really bad bout of flu. my dad was out working and so my mum was trying to look after me whilst feeling like hell. My middle sis and brother were upstairs in their rooms so I entertained myself by eating a jar of lemon curd until i got bored.

I had seen my mum take some tablets and was sleeping. I wanted her to wake up but she wouldn't.
I was always told to call for help if there was an emergency (and I thought my mum being sick with flu fell under that category) so I dragged a stool to the living room door to open it, dragged it to where the shelf was in the hallway and called 999

I told them my mum was really sick, she had drank lots and taken some pills but she wasn't waking up. I remember being told to stay on the line and someone was on their way. I eventually hung up before they arrived though so my mum initally had no idea when she woke up. (I vaguely remember her asking what I was up to and told her "nothing")
Knock on the door came and my mum thought it was Jehovah's witnesses so we hid in the dining room until the police decided to come around the back of the house. My mum answered the door and I stood behind her back, frozen to the spot, munching on custard creams whilst one cop was telling me off and the other was telling me, it's ok :o :D

Watching the Grog fly past the Whiching Hour as the heaths head for the cliffs and Nighthoods are denied.

How the morning glories weaken when a nod is not as good as a wink, no spine unfurl'd when day is done, and the quoth of the shaker of the Speare mispised

"Time maketh fools of all", quoth he, wot wiz be not denied.

Thus the fallen count themselves among the glad, forbeit ever they the fresh breast of Dawn awaits.

I never had my own Lego as a kid, just maybe 20 pieces to play with that had been handed down to me :(

My uncle had some of the k-nex stuff I think, we have no idea what to do with it as he has Lego stuff too. Will probably end up going to charity.

I have a couple of sacks of lego which I need to get rid of if you want to live the childhood that could have been @secretspy :p

Even have a box of some 1960's, 70's and possibly 80's lego, so you could make it a period correct experience if you wanted. :D
