Just called 101 and went though to call operator who checked and then put me through to the person who the email came from. It is legit.
Whoever makes the statement needs to provide their details so she said it can either be the director or another employee of the company or if I'm happy to, it can be me. Makes sense that it's me because I was the one who liaised with the suspect etc.

That sounds like an obscene way to request the type of information without other channels of communication for confirmation. No wonder identity theft is so common.

Thankfully you’re a clever bean and double check these things though, still the best thing to do if unsure.
 
I think thats pretty standard for giving a police statement in this kind of situation. A little uncomfortable though handing that info over so good to triple check!
 
As per my luck, managed to scrape some money to upgrade my dieing pc.(i7 2600k +780ti ) and there is either no stock.or the stock that's available is hyper inflated.....


Plus there's two 3060s on eBay at the moment for double the MSRP, with order confirmations from overclockers, nice to see the scalpers supporting small businesses.... Fml

I recently re-built my 2700K system in a new case and added a new GPU, that will do for another few years. :p

Still plenty good enough.

Haha at first it did feel like a new PC. It doesn't anymore though. Still my old bish. <3 :p

Starting to get a bit like triggers broom though. The only original bits from 2011~ are now the motherboard, half of the RAM, PSU, and the hard drives.

Anyone who buys a 30X series card is 100% feeding the scalpers. Everyone's at it you all going to pay PREMIUM price for these cards no matter who you are. Age, Gender and Race doesn't discriminate. Some get ripped more than others.

Got my shift changed last minute to cover an idiot that's faking Corona to have some time off. Pretty sure it's true.....

Surely they should ask for a positive test result etc if he claims to know its COVID?

I guess all you have to do is say you have symptoms though and you can't go in, incase you spread it. You then just say "oh it must not've been covid"

I reckon it's been abused massively.

Yeah, last yeah I had a bit of cash left over from a project so upgrade from 2500k to the 2600k, ram from 4gb ddr3 to 16gb ddr3, changed a 100gb 2.5inch SSD to a 750gb SSD and upd the graphics from a gtx 560 go the 780ti. All for the grand sum of £150...


I doubt o could get the 780 for less than 150 now...
 
Finally finished Outlander this morning. I can now return to "normal" life :o

Touch wood today should be fairly quiet at work :) and the sun is shining. Spring is finally on the way :cool:
