I love a nice bunch of flowers. It's a better random gift than actual stuff, I often get landed with tat I don't need like ornaments. Bunch of colourful flowers for a few weeks is a nice £10 present

I really need to watch my sugar intake so wouldn't be allowed any lol. I did try baking with some natvia sweetener but it leaves a horrible after taste

Well at least I got to the bottom of my water issue, there's a water leak right outside our home which looked like someone had just dumped a load of water, no utility covers or anything nearby.

Sometimes, my wife will lovingly make me a coffee and bring it to me, without my prior request. If however it is not in my niffler mug, I will express disappointment and send her back to transfer it to the correct vessel. This is particularly annoying for her as our coffee maker does not fit the niffler mug, so it will always require a mug to mug transfer.

Got called to run an emergency errand about 10.30. Hurried into the car and it won't start. Called in-laws to sort out the errand.

I always thought men were more practical and women were more visual (when it comes to gifts)
one of my ex asked for a Hoover for her birthday though and she liked power tools and DIY stuff

Hmmm as mentioned, I appreciate flowers more than tat that I won't use, which is what tends to happen with smaller gifts.
But I wouldn't complain getting power tools or a good hoover...
