I had a wasp in my kitchen before (no idea how it got in) but it disappeared around my boiler and I’ve got no idea where it is now. I’d know if it was flying cos it was so flipping loud.

Do I burn down the flat / move out?

Had a small growth removed from side of nose (at top). So unable to wear glasses properly. Glasses sit lower down. The flashback of my English teacher wearing glasses in this way with eyes looking above them doing this came back to me

So had a check up on the old knee cap, still broken in half....

Doctor wanted to change from the cast to a splint style support.

Nurse measures my other knee, asks if I'm right or left footed.

Turns out my knee and thigh/calf's are too big for the standard size splints...

So guess who gets to keep his cast until a custom xxxL version is sent to South Wales...

The itching is unbelievable, it's literally keeping me awake most of the night.

The joys of catching the bus!

People who crowd up to you when the bus arrives, it’s not gonna leave without you.

People who stick their arm out to flag down the bus even though you’ve just done that.

People who crowd up to you when you’re standing at the point the bus will stop. I’m not standing here for the good of my health!

Other bus joys, old ***** who barge their way to the front of the queue. I’m not talking about old dears who have trouble moving, I’m talking about able bodied people who are just *****.

Then there's those who stood there for 20 mins then the bus pulls up, then spend minutes rummaging their bags to get money/card/pass/phone.

The buses are free for pensioners after 9:30am. Why do they stand at the bus stop for 40 mins before they can get free travel? Took a bus a few weeks ago at 8:50am for a hosp appt and got there 5-10 mins before and were about 4 pensioners. When the bus pulled up, I offered them to board first "Oh we are waiting for the first post 9:30 bus". Rolled eyes and shook head.

Sometimes my dad has early hospital appts and pays for the outbound journey and gets the bus free when going home.
