Go to food place just after opening time, “Sorry, it’ll be 30 minutes, kitchen has just opened”.

While I’m moaning is autocorrect much more aggressive on Apple devices now. It’s correcting words I’ve spelled correctly for another word now, “good” for “food” in the post above for example.

To be fair to these people I think they were on the correct side. The signage was a bit daft as there are signs on the promenade for two no dog zones but if you're already on the beach presumably you wouldn't know or know what the boundaries are.

That's fair.

I still remember the amusement of taking the dog to the beach at Southport and a family complaining that he ran over interrupting their picnic. Whilst i can understand it being annoying. They had plonked themself in the middle of the dog section!

What was more offensive was the women in question were walking side by side, slowly, blocking the aisle.

You know how you lose touch with friends, especially during Covid. Just logged into Linkedin first time in years and one friend since 2019 has managed to do a Masters in Artificial Intelligence from Kings College London, then went to Oxford University to do AI foundation and then on do Quantum Theory. At the same time held a job at UK Ministry of Defence (some high position), and the NHS's AI regulation, policy & Futures..and now a consultant in Saudi Arabia...

That's just in the past 4 years ! I feel so inadequate lol

Currently sat watching mission impossible rogue nation whilst laying like a pretzel.

my "back" issue is slowly easing. I say back but it's my butt :o what's a polite/quick way to tell people you have a pain in your glutes pressing on your sciatic nerve causing pain down your leg? "I have back pain"

Sent my NHS allocation letter to the new GP surgery on Monday explaining its not easy for me to get there currently and asked how I need to complete registration. Heard nothing so called today and they said yes they'd received my email and just need ID and proof of address. How long would I have waited to hear back if i hadnt chased :rolleyes: thankfully my mum was over today collecting my food shop for me so drove me round. lady on reception said they normally ask for paper copy of address proof so told her politely that i queried that over phone and was told email was fine. Then they ended up accepting my driving license as my proof of address and photo ID. Why does every GP surgery have one nice receptionist and one difficult one lol

First time I've been outside in weeks and felt so nice. (minus the uncomfortable drive)
Was even able to walk ok bar a bit of a hobble. I now have to apparently see the GP for the them to action the referral letter that my physiotherapist sent to my previous GP, asking for a scan.

At least I'm not crying as much these days :D was crying every day from the pain and frustration. Now I just cry randomly when I'm feeling low

So I'm going to make a start up where folks with no one to leave cash to can sell their inheritance for today money. Anyone interesting in developing it for me? Ill be the ideas guy with 100% equity.

I am just impressed more than anything! I don't have the stomach to go back to school again, it's a lot of balls to juggle which I don't need at this stage of my life, including an extra financial side. (p,s it's a she.)
