Don't mess with the bull, young man. You'll get the horns. @Maccy 's "perma" only makes me want @diddums more, like the inflated demand for the 50 series GPUs which when they do turn up let you down in so many unexpected ways.

In weather news, it's starting to feel bit autumnal in these parts of the world. Not a huge fan :/

Not today. But an update on yesterday. I visited a very old friend in hospital. He's recently had surgery to remove a benign, but growing, brain tumour. Sadly he has permanently lost hearing in one ear due to the tumour and his face is paralysed on one side due to the surgery. It's 50/50 whether his facial paralysis will heal over the next few months. He's not able to close one eye. Poor guy although he was trying to be as cheerful as possible. I'm not going to say who it is but he used to be a forum member on here many years ago. It's a reminder to appreciate what we have and to make the most of things, no matter how tough the going gets.

Another week with guests at work so I've barely had time to look at personal emails/phone/etc :(

Should pack my bag for travel tomorrow and go to bed...
 
The women’s coach just took over the fitness part of the training session.

I’ve just done so many variations of legs to Taylor swift that a I nearly throw up.

I’m just sat in the car wishing I had a automatic as all leg movements is just pain

Edit; just got home and had to roll out of the car onto the drive. I’m completely ******

Embraced the Valentine’s dine in thing, but now feel that the karmic debt I’ve incurred is massive, as I’ve just had to cook a £15 piece of fillet steak medium well for the Mrs. Honestly, I am now obliged by honour to track down the poor creature that had to give it’s life for such an ignominious end in the next world, and spend the rest of eternity feeding it but the finest of meadow grasses and brushing it’s coat to the peak of silky smoothness.

Just finished our Japanese restaurant night at the All Inc resort in Tenerife, 5 courses of superb food all cooked in front of us as part of the entertaining evening.
 
It occurred to me that I've been a member of this forum longer than a lot of posters have been alive. (longer than 23 years) I kinda feel like I'm just slowly dying rather than living.

Same... I think my sentence has been 26 years so far. My kids aren't even that age and it's even longer than I've been married.

I went to PhD graduation party for one of my friends a couple of years, was chatting to the lab tech and realised I was wearing a shirt older than her.

Somehow, we got old.
