Part of me wants to buy a Mac Book Pro just because the OS is great for my work flow

I hate that I need dongles and I think it's hilarious - But the OS just works so much nicer

The issue is, I wouldn't want to go half measures so it'd need to be i7 with 16GB RAM etc etc and the prices are eye watering

Unless you're editing video or something I'm sure the base model would be fine.

I got the non touch bar base 13" for $1299 a month or so ago and for everyday tasks it's more than adequate.
