I think this is a lesson in packaging design. MSI stands out, I immediately knew it was an MSI product, everything else I had to squint.

club3d stood out for me. The massive club logo on the front of the box did the job nicely

That looks AWESOME. Think the guy saying the MSI packaging is most brand distinctive hasn't seen much in the other brands packing. Only one that looks unusual to me is Sapphire, though I haven't had one of there cards in time.
