FEAR 2......the best there is for sheer blood and violence...............so enjoy :D:D:D:D

i havent played REBORN yet but my mates tell me that it's awesome, this guy must be on Speed...flipping heck what a mess he makes.

not long, only about 1.5 to 2 hours, but it's only 5 quid so that's ok.

FEAR 2 is definitely dumbed down for consoles, but it's still high octane compared to other shooters...........it's as violent as you want it to be.

e.g he's chosen weapons to generate the maximum gore :cool:
 
Fear 2 is terrible. I bought it, it sucked. The singleplayer is mediocre, nowhere near as good as Fear 1. As for the multiplayer, don't even bother.
 
I missed FEAR due to MMO addiction but got the second and have yet to finish it. Should I really just get FEAR then? Without too much spoilage, what wasn't in the sequel?

Having just finished replaying the sequel i would say it suffers from the following.

Key binding, you cant use delete or more than 3 mouse buttons
Its sluggish, did you know a supper ace fighter can only run at 1.5 mph, and cant jump more than 30cm.
AI, it just feels wrong.
Rubbish ending, could it be more of a let down.

The only + for the squeal would be the mobile suits. pity you only get to use them for a few min.

fear 1 was jumpy as **** for first hour or 2 of playing it then it became very predictable, fear 2 was very predictable from the beginning

never the less i still finished them both, and enjoyed playing them
 
Might give this a look, how could you dumb down a game like Fear though? It wasnt exactly complex to begin with. Enjoyed the first one for a while but the level design became so repetitive, the interesting enemy ai and kinetic and brutal combat kept only kept me interested for so long, really had to force myself to slog on to the finish.
