All this shouting of "high horse" is hugely ironic. Get off our high horses for finding the picture funny? Get off your high horses for preaching to us what our sense of humour should concern.

Ok then.

How about

"You have a completely lame, simple sense of humour"

There is nothing at all funny about a few people stood in the street. So they're chavs wow, hilarious.

The whole chav thing is done to death now anyway.

What area do you live in?

Most area of Nottingham are fine like you say, but there are a few bad estates that are just like that picture. The area leading from Carlton road into St. Annes is a pretty damn poor estate, as are areas in an around the city.

Yeah but you're missing the point, Tom.

Who are you to tell me what is funny and what isn't?
Who are you to tell me what is and isn't acceptable to publically mock?
Why are you so special that only your opinion count?
What makes you different to everyone else that you can judge us, ironically, in the very way we're judging the people in the picture?

Nothing mate. Absolutely nothing. Now go lead your amazing life where nobody is the butt of a joke. Oh wait, you're inside on your computer. Like the rest of us.

Thanks for your time. :)

I live in the newly built area of Chilwell (Charlton Park).

well done :D extremely surprised it took so long for it to be said tbh.

at the end of it all this is general discussion, general things will be said and you lot may not like them, maybe you'd all prefer laughing about silly things people you don't know have said to there co worker, maybe you prefer reading threads saying happy birthday to SwishSpencor, it doesn't matter though as someone will like this thread (e.g. me, DampCat to name a few, though the chav thing hasn't been done to death for me as it has for some people), and for the amount of people that have said this thread is pointless purely because they don't find it funny it extremely odd, "i don't find this thread funny so it should be closed even though others do enjoy it", even without the funny side of the thread, it still isn't "pointless" as it has allowed us to see everyones views

errr it's not ironic at all

People are judging and jumping too conclusions of those in the photo solely based on the way they look and the environment around them, (ie judging a book by it's cover)
People like me have then given an opinion on these people for their actions/words and their prejudiced views. TOTALLY different, one's a fair way to judge someone the other isn't!

It look slike a harmless organised baby fight to me. Look, the small one is taking a mandatory eight count, whilst the larger one has retreated to the opposite corner. It looks like the proper baby fighting rules are being observed. I can't see the problem?

Lol I love the way that most of the people defending the Chav culture are young people who still live with their parents so dont pay rent or are students who live tax free just like the chavs do. Maybe thats the common theme and why you're defending them?

Get a job, watch a lot of your money get lost to taxes and go live in a rough area where you have to pay your own rent yet the chavs live for free, continually vandalise cars, cause problems and everynight the police get called out. Then come back in a few years and see if you feel the same way about the chav culture.

For those who live in nice countryside houses, dont defend the chav culture until you have to live with it 24/7...

omg haha, emos. They gonna go home and slit their wrists? ....

:p

None of those look like emos

The two on the left are clearly goths? If your going to try and insult someone at least know what you're calling them!

The one in the front left is pretty hot too... age depending of course
