This man knows who stole my phone, can anyone help

Those headsets would be radio surely.

Dunno... might double up. Maybe someone can enlighten us. Still, I don't see why the police would be averse to using a phone, especially when they want the OP to use the alarm function - setting that off before they got in could have meant the tea-leaf taking the battery out and getting away with it.
 
Regarding being on the phone. Police in my area use BlackBerrys. I don't know if that's a Bedfordshire thing or if it's nation wide. Could just call with that.

Doubt that would be his first thought, after all he didn't even realise Cerberus was on it.

Also, if there's other stolen goods in his place, he wouldn't know what the police were coming for!
 
sad thing is what real punishment is this guy going to get? - his friends camera equip was stolen also worth 1500 it was suggested. As some peeps said he should be deported and I Agree!

Depends, who knows what else they might find in the flat. I doubt very much the phone is the only thing he's stolen. Not something the police are likely to tell the OP either.
