No I've not won the top prize yet. Should i complain?
Seems the only thing that's changing is the new licence is meant to provide a better division of profits for "good causes".

Fourth National Lottery Licence begins with Allwyn as new operator
Today, 1 February 2024, the Fourth National Lottery Licence has come into effect and Allwyn have formally been granted the Licence to operate the National Lottery by the Gambling Commission.

The Camelot (or what used to be Camelot) lottery is only around 50% RTP. The Health Lottery has better odds at 70%, and even that's quite low.

On the other hand the national lottery gives a better % to "good causes".
I have a weekly flutter on the EuroMillions.
Won a fair few of the smaller prizes, <£30, but I don't drink or smoke so I just see it as my little vice. It's a fiver a week, the Mrs spends more than that on one coffee.

I knew of someone very similar in terms of spend. He also won very little from it.
He was rich all the time though as he had millions already.
