Ever had a question where you are sure the answer is common knowledge but you don't know it?
Has your google-fu failed?
Are you just really lazy?

Ask them here.

I'll start off.
I'm trying to call technical support, but can't get through. I dial the numbers listed on this site http://www.mksinst.com/service/TechSupport.aspx
and nothing happens. I imagine you have to add something extra to the number?

Why do some posters on here **** off Facebook when basically they are on a kind of Facebook slagging Facebook off?
One is for people you know and the other isn't which means they don't like their real mates if they **** it off.
dmpoole is confused.

You are presented with two evils:

1. Loose contact with friends that you no longer live/work/whatever with
2. Use a website that allows you to remain in contact with said friends, but so as you aren't considered rude you accept requests of people you wouldn't normally remain in contact with.

Most people go for option 2, the lesser evil. However, it is still an evil so people complain about them.
Its similar reasoning as why people complain about a government they voted into power

SERIOUS QUESTION:

If a girls face lights up every time she see's you and she gets a little bit giddy, is that a good enough sign that the pasty is smashable?

1. Yes she is of legal age
2. Yes she is damn fine

It is a sign you can embark on the road to pasty smashing. The road is often long, take these words of wisdom:

Roads Go Ever On
Roads go ever ever on,
Over rock and under tree,
By caves where never sun has shone,
By streams that never find the sea;
Over snow by winter sown,
And through the merry flowers of June,
Over grass and over stone,
And under mountains in the moon.

Roads go ever ever on,
Under cloud and under star.
Yet feet that wandering have gone
Turn at last to home afar.
Eyes that fire and sword have seen,
And horror in the halls of stone
Look at last on meadows green,
And trees and hills they long have known.

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errands meet.

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with weary feet,
Until it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

The Road goes ever on and on
Out from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone.
Let others follow, if they can!
Let them a journey new begin.
But I at last with weary feet
Will turn towards the lighted inn,
My evening-rest and sleep to meet.

Is the universe simply a singularity within a singularity within a singularity?

But a singularity within a singularity is just a singularity.

To illustrate please look at this, on the left is a singularity, on the right is that same singularity within another singularity

If we were to genetically modify a child so that they grow up being able to see ultra-violet light, would they perceive this as a new colour, or would it appear as a familiar colour?
