Thorney Motorsport

After 13 grand? I wouldn't have given them a penny until the car was in a state I was 100% happy with.

Problem is, there are so many monkeys about. There always has been and always will be... the only way to be 100% sure it's done right is by doing it yourself, but alas this is not always possible :/

I can understand why you'd pay a company to do some race-prep on your car, but for me half the fun of a race car/track day car would be working on it. I'd do the work myself then have stuff like the mapping an geometry done by a specialist over a day.

Not quite as bad as the utterly butchered 350Z that was doing the rounds 18 months back or so (the one with skirts held on with chipboard screws), but shocking none the less.

Poor bloke, I bet he's utterly furious/at his wits end with all this. :(

One of the guys at work has known John for years. Told me how he changed into quite the business man, and it clearly shows with the amount of these stories popping up these days.

Looks disgraceful!

That is disgraceful. Having been a member of the VX220 forum for a number of years I thought Thorney's was the place to go for VX220 tuning. Poor guy, 13k down, ****** up car and stressed out with the farce as well.
