Those who work nights:

I to work shifts including nights. The best way to work it if i finish at 7 A.M is to stay up till at least midday then go to bed.
My body clock has been messed up for 6 years now because of these work patterns.I've spoken and know many people that have worked nights for extensive periods and they always comment that you never recover from them for as long as you live,
I don't think i could do a 9-5 now think it would me very boring.

Chance would be a fine thing mate.

I work 3 up to 15 hour night shifts, with a 9 hour rest & 2 13 Hour shifts with 11 hours rest in between.

I'd love enough time off to actually get bored!

I sleep soundly on night's as a rule but that's because I know what suits me best. If your having difficulty then consider staying up longer and going to bed in the afternoon or split your sleeptime into 2 halves. Try a long walk before going to bed to wind down some.

Sleepings fine, but as I get up early, I just get bored round the house.

I do the 12 hour nightshift, so i sleep most of the day :)

When i get up i really dont have a lot of time to do any thing, tho right now i am finding time to put a small amount of time in ff12.

Get home just after 0700, sleep till about 2pm though TBH you don't always sleep that thoroughly in the day even when dog tired.

Up at 2pm, light snack and coffee. Usually get any shopping, business in town after that. Tea/dinner at 5pm then chill until going out for work at 9.30pm (unless on 12 hours in which case 6.30pm).

Generally speaking though, it pretty much destroys anything resembling a normal daytime routine. I normally do 7 on the trot including two 12 hour stints in the middle so usually pretty much knackered and on autopilot by the middle.

It can take two or three days to adjust afterwards, too.
